An ambitious and growing SME is looking for a proactive and experienced Accountant to join its finance team.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to make a real impact across the business, ensuring financial stability, insightful reporting, and effective resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with clear analysis
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day financial tracking
Investigate and explain budget variances to management
Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices
Partner with operational teams to support business decision-making
Oversee financial planning for key projects and business initiatives
Monitor capital expenditure and align spend with financial goals
Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership and investors
Contribute to the development and implementation of finance processes
Support year-end and interim audits and liaise with external auditors
Provide financial insight and advice to support business growth
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations and practices
What We're Looking For
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
At least 2 years of post-qualification experience with hands on accounts preparation experience
Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
A team player with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
