EHS Officer

EHS Officer is responsible for implementing all day to day EHSS activities on a busy Waterford manufacturing site. This is a contract role supporting the site - contract length upto 18 months, excellent longevity available with this exciting opportunity. Duties Active Implementation of EHSS Management system for Waterford facility operations Work with the existing EHSS team to ensure ongoing compliance with the EHS progra Execution of a systematic approach to risk assessments ensuring appropriate mitigation of risk. Working with senior operations managers and existing EHSS team to ensure the EHSS programs are effective and up-to-date Oversight of internal systems to support incident case management, risk assessments, EHS inspections and internal and external auditing Ensure corrective actions and preventative actions are managed through to completion Direct involvement and day to day management of EPA related activities Requirements / Desirable Third Level qualification in Safety Health and Welfare desirable Energy Management & Environmental Management Qualification.
