Dublin Finglas, Ireland | Posted on 01/10/2025Connect Now is recruiting forHealthcare Assistantsavailable for full-time contracts forIrelands Leading Nursing home in Co Dublin.EU Passport Holders.This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills as a Healthcare Assistant within asupportive and diverse environment.Work with Irelands most reputable nursing homes, built to very high standards and operated todeliver excellent care to the elderly.Their care team has extensive clinical experience, specializing in dementia care and aiming to be a holistic person-centered care provider to all its Residents.All staff ishighly trained, driven by our philosophythat each staff member should provide the same levels of care that they would want for their own loved ones.Responsibilities and DutiesThe Healthcare Assistant supports the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residentsEnsures residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident's dignity at all timeAssists residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needsAssists residents with mobilizing as appropriate and using correct aidsThe Care Assistant escorts and transfers residents as directed by the Nursing staffAssists in End of Life CareParticipates in activities with residentsAny other duties deemed necessary by nurse and managementRequirementsQualifications and Skills6 months in Healthcare or relative experience in a similar environmentPractical experience in a caring capacity desiredAbility to work independently or as part of a teamProfessional, caring, and empathetic natureBe comfortable working in a sometimes, challenging environmentHave a good level of English language skillsAvailability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to SundayWhat we offer:Comprehensive induction training and continuous professional developmentCompetitive rates of payOpportunities for promotion or relocation within an expanding group#J-18808-Ljbffr
