Your Key Responsibilities: Lead the technical delivery of payment/cards projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery with high quality standards.
Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, engineering and test leads to drive delivery.
Ensure the successful completion of all activities related to requirement analysis and mapping; develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and manage scope, schedule, and costs.
Oversee development and testing of payment systems.
Stay updated on payment industry trends to foster innovation.
Mentor and support team members, promoting continuous learning and development.
To qualify for the role, you must have: 8+ years of experience in technical project management, focusing on payment and/or card systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC), including Waterfall & Agile.
Ability to build and manage relationships across business and technology stakeholders.
Strong understanding of payment processing systems, architecture, and regulations.
Good knowledge of European payments schemes like SEPA.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in delivering business value from technology and communicating it to senior stakeholders.
Experience working in banking across multiple product domains (Retail, Corporate, SME, Treasury).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Self-motivated with quick learning ability.
Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Degree in IT or relevant field.
Domain Areas: Payments Cards Channels Open Banking Products: FIS Open Payments Framework Finastra Global PayPlus Dovetail Payments TSYS Tools experience: MS Office, Visio Jira, Confluence Preferred experience: Handling ambiguity and conducting workshops/interviews.
