Join our dedicated team as a Consultant Anaesthetist at a leading healthcare facility in Galway, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgeries, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care.
Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and anaesthesia technicians.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergencies.
Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to optimise patient outcomes.
Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Engage in professional development, research, and teaching opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
Completion of Specialist Training in Anaesthesiology and possession of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
At least 5 years of post-registration experience in Anaesthesiology.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care.
Experience in regional anaesthesia, pain management, and intensive care is advantageous.
