Bidvest Noonan are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to support with managing a fast paced day-to-day operation in Galway.This role will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning operatives.Job Purpose:It is essential that the client's site is maintained to excellent standards.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervision (and direction where needed) of all cleaning team activitiesMaintaining excellent client relationshipAdvocating and developing a positive team spirit which will involve maintaining and developing high levels of safety, health, and environmental protectionMonitoring of work through daily spot checks, audits, and staff interactions to ensure high standards are maintainedManagement of staff rosters to ensure absenteeism and annual leave coverResolution of issues where they arise in a professional manner, and fair treatment of allManagement of wages and holidaysPreparation of work schedules / rostersImplementation of (including the arrangement of) staff training when requiredOther works as neededPerson SpecificationEssential Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:Cleaning experience is essentialSupervisor experience is essentialExperience working in a fast paced retail environment is desirable.Computer literate is an advantage, but training will be providedExcellent customer service skillsStrong communicatorHigh sense of responsibilityAbility to identify issues and take action when needed in a safe and timely mannerAbility to empower and motivate othersOpen to feedback, responds to coaching and is a skilled learnerExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailStrong leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, within the department and across other departmentsSelf-motivated and results orientedDelivers results, strives for continuous improvement.Achieves high performance expectations, is accountable and has a keen sense of priority and urgencyAbility to prioritise your own work with excellent capability to multitask
