Company DescriptionO'Boyle & Co. specializes in providing comprehensive accounting, auditing and taxation services.The company advises clients on accounting matters, liaises with Revenue as tax agents, and aims to minimize tax exposure while ensuring full tax compliance.Dedicated to helping businesses achieve success, O'Boyle & Co. offers expert guidance and support tailored to each client's needs.Role DescriptionRole 1 : AuditThis is a full-time hybrid role for an accountant with audit experience in practice.The role is based in Longford, with the flexibility of some remote work.The Audit person will assist in auditing financial statements, preparing tax returns, conducting financial analysis, and maintaining accurate financial records.Daily tasks include interacting with clients, liaising with Revenue, and providing support to senior auditors.Role 2: TaxThis is a full-time hybrid role for an accountant with taxation experience in practice.The role is based in Longford, with the flexibility of some remote work.The tax person will assist in preparing and reviewing Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns, and will work with our tax manager on preparing CGT and CAT returns and various ad hoc tax assignments.Daily tasks include interacting with clients, liaising with Revenue, and providing support to senior tax professionals.QualificationsRelevant audit/taxation qualificationsStrong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial dataExcellent Communication skills for client interaction and team collaborationKnowledge of Finance, including financial statements and reportsAuditing skills with attention to detail (for audit role)Basic understanding of taxation principlesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office SuitePursuing or completed degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
