Quality Manager – Full Time Permanent

Posted onAugust 21, ****The successful candidate will work as part of team supporting the systematic integration of Quality and Safety throughout the service.Candidates will have:An academic award in Risk Management or Quality at Level 8 (or higher) on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework or equivalent and/or a professional qualification in a health related area.Minimum of 3 years proven experience and working knowledge in Quality, ideally in a clinical / healthcare setting that has involved quality and risk management as relevant to this role.Experience of leading / influencing change in an organisation and a proven track record in driving Continuous Improvement programmes.Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills and experience of delivering training programmes.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Experience with audit management/CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventative Action) management programs strongly preferred.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities / projects with competing priorities/deadlines.Clean full driver's licence as 25% travel between sites will be required.Experience of team management / development and ability to work equally well as part of a team or independently.A strong working knowledge of quality standards e.g. CHKS, JCI, ISO, HIQA and quality systems.In addition, candidates will be expected to be innovative, attentive to details and ability and willingness to work flexibly.Informal enquiries can be made by telephoning Ms. Niamh McKeon (Director of Quality) on or by email atClosing date for receipt of all applications is 2.00 p.m. 9th September ****Please contact Ann Dolan, Director of HR
