Overview
DeltaV Standard Automation Engineer – Dublin, Ireland — 12 month contract.
Do you want to work with an exciting company that is an established market leader within its niche field?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join one of our industry-leading clients in Ireland.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update DeltaV site automation standards on site.
Collaborate with Global Automation on alignments and updates to common Library standards.
Develop control strategies using DeltaV tools (Function Blocks, SFC, etc.).
Design and implement batch processes using ISA-88 standards as required.
Configuration and documentation of ISA-88/S88 standards.
Strong focus on batch automation standards for manufacturing pharma and biotech.
Collaborate with Automation Engineers to align standards.
Work within regulated environments, delivering software under site change control.
Support continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Automation Engineering.
8-10+ years of experience with Emerson DeltaV systems.
Strong understanding of process control, instrumentation, and industrial networking.
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., pharma, biotech) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with 8CADA, PLCs, and OPC communications is a plus.
