We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Deli Assistant to join our team.The successful candidate will assist in preparing, presenting, and serving a variety of deli products while providing excellent customer service.This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations on products.Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food.Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.Product Presentation: Maintain a visually appealing display of deli products, ensuring stock levels are adequate and items are rotated properly.Sales and Promotions: Promote specials and upsell additional products to increase sales.Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness in the deli area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Regularly clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.Inventory Management: Assist in the management of stock levels, including receiving deliveries, checking quality, and organizing inventory.Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.Qualifications:Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment is essential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for food and customer service.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:Employee discountFood allowanceWork Location: In person
