Company ProfileThe Hobart Enterprises group which traces its history to almost a century ago, consists of a group of companies that distribute raw materials and ingredients into industries such as Food & Beverage, Personal Care & Cosmetics, Paint, Inks & Adhesives, and Rubber & Plastics.We also have niche manufacturing facilities based in South Africa and Ireland that produce chocolate confectionery, specialty bonding agents and plastics masterbatch.About the roleWe created our first marketing role three years ago to determine the impact this focus would have on our business and we are seeking a talented visual design focused person to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our portfolio of raw material distribution and trading brands and developing our group's overall marketing strategy, managing a Junior Content Creator and Social Media Assistant.A great opportunity for someone passionate about graphic design and communications who wants to experience a group that is involved in many industries with businesses operating in Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, Kenya and South Africa.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing and editing marketing materials such as presentations, stationery, newsletters – including creating visual branding, including email, logos, color palettes and graphic elements, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.Manage and support the design and update of the group websites.Create professional content utilizing design software (such as Canva/Adobe Creative Suite).Planning and managing all visual aspects of our promotional events/exhibitions to ensure brand adherence and consistency.Provide support to the marketing and design teams as required, including organizing design resources and managing workflow tasks.Run social media ad campaigns (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn) and use analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics 4) to turn data into insights.Preparing and managing expenses against business plan and budget.Assist in maintaining supplier relationships, purchase requisitions, quotations, costings, orders and all related communications.Work alongside our any third-party web developers where required, or build internally, on our current websites.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of experience in graphic design, digital marketing or a related field.Bachelor's degree (or similar) in Marketing, Communications, Design or related discipline.Highly creative skillset which can be applied to both creation and management of content supported by a portfolio.Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital.campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.Experience with CRM or email campaign software.
