Our client is an established 3-partner chartered accountancy firm based in Co.
Meath.
With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality-chartered accountancy services for over 30 years.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with solid practice experience who wants to continue building their career in a supportive, down-to-earth environment.
You'll be working alongside a team of experienced professionals from trainees to fully qualified accountants gaining the kind of hands-on exposure with a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type.
Responsibilities: Preparation of year end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity of posting journals onto accounting software Assist with the preparation of management accounts Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements Assist with year-end close out and year end journals Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns Liaising with clients confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence Assisting manager on special client assignments Requirements: Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) Minimum 1 / 2 years general accounting practice experience 1 degree Excellent verbal and written English Basic knowledge of CCH and Sage Candidate Qualities: Part Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA Minimum 2 plus years general accounting practice experience Results orientated Excellent technical abilities Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role Excellent communication and customer care skills Excellent planning and organisational skills Excellent written and spoken English Ability to work on own initiative Benefits / Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 (Depending on Experience) + 10% year-end bonus Hybrid Working Scheme Flexible Hours (Mon Thurs 8:30am 5:30pm, Fri 8:30am 2pm) Organised company social events Free Parking Continuous Training and Development If youre a Part-Qualified Accountantready for a new challenge, send your CV to Eoin O'Leary at and we can arrange a confidential discussion.
