OverviewA leading Irish Agri supplier, headquartered in North Dublin, is seeking aSenior Financial Accountantto head up its finance team.They are seeking a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant to oversee a wide range of financial, operational, and administrative functions.This pivotal role ensures the efficient running of the business and calls for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a practical, hands-on mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesTheSenior Financial Accountantwill oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger management.Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial strategy, and performance analysis to support senior management decisions.Ensure accurate month-end, statutory, and compliance reporting, including Revenue, CSO, and REPAK submissions.Manage working capital, FX exposure, credit control, and implement cost and risk control measures.Drive system improvements and support team development through effective financial leadership.RequirementsThe successfulSenior Financial Accountantwill be Qualified or Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA with strong technical and analytical skills.Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts role in an Irish Industry or Practice roleStrong proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting tools preferrableExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.A keen interest in the day to day running of the businessSalary & BenefitsSalary range: €70,000 to €80,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications).Bonus / performance incentive scheme.Hybrid working modelPension scheme with employer contributions.Annual leave plus public holidays.Professional development support (training, accounting qualification support)Organised Social eventsParkingIf you are a qualified or part-qualified accountant seeking to advance your career in a dynamic, project-driven environment, please reach out to Andrew Hendrickx for further information on thisSenior Financial Accountantrole.Please note that we will not share any CVs without prior consent.#J-*****-Ljbffr
