The Food Assistant is required to work side by side with the team, providing customer service in our deli area and assisting in the preparation of fresh deli foods and homemade dinners in our main kitchen.General supervision is received from your Food Manager.Assist kitchen with homemade dinners & deli items for both hot & cold counters - preparation, assembly, presentation, packaging, HACCP recording, rotation and replenishing.General deli duties - food preparation & service, replenishing stock, HACCP recording, opening & closing deli counters.Greet customers and provide quality, efficient, personalized service.Professional kitchen experience preferable but not essential.Clean, presentable appearance essential.Weekend availability essential, full time position (5 days) to include Friday, Saturday and Sunday's.Day shift hours 7am-3pm.Competitive hourly rate for suitable candidate.Uniform provided.Food Safety training will be made available whether you require a refresher course, an upgrade or an introductory level as food safely and hygiene needs to be kept to a very high standard.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Food allowanceOn-site parkingApplication question(s):Do you drive and have you a car to commute to our location?There is NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT to this location H91 KC2P.Experience:Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In personExpected start date: 01/09/2025
