Transport Manager – Country Clean RecyclingBallygown, Mallow, Co.Cork, Ireland | Full-time | PermanentCountry Clean Recycling, one of Ireland's leading Waste collection providers, is seeking a highly organised and experienced Transport Manager to oversee fleet compliance, driver management, and operational coordination.This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, knowledge of transport legislation, and excellent leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:Fleet & Vehicle ComplianceRecruit, train, and manage staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.Ensure full compliance with RSA, Department of Transport and NTA regulations.Manage road tax, CVRT, PSV, tachograph calibrations, and vehicle licensing renewals.Handle accident/incident investigations, insurance reporting, and driver behaviour monitoring.Maintain driver files, issue updated manuals and policies, and oversee training & inductions.Monitor driver performance, walkaround checks, and compliance with safety standardsManage insurance renewals, fleet additions/removals, and claimsKnowledge of fleet management, transport regulations, and operational compliance.Ability to manage compliance deadlines and lead a team effectively.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Good people management & presentation skills.Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitaskCPC in transport management, International Transport Licence is an advantageExcellent PC Skills: MS Office, Excel;Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee discountOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
