Cognizant Company is a world leader in delivering digital transformation solutions to Life Sciences.Through our knowledge and expertise in Automation, MES & Digital, we deliver stable manufacturing systems that are optimized to improve operational efficiencies, whilst maintaining compliance.Our specialist engineering teams have the aptitude to deliver and support Pharma 4.0 architectures and solutions covering all IT, OT and IoT applications, infrastructures and services.About the roleWe are looking for an Senior Aveva OSI PI Engineer to join our OSI team for a site-based project in Dublin.The Senior OSIsoft PI Software Engineer needs to have an in-depth experience of OSI Data Historian Systems, Control Systems and Process Analysis.The successful candidate should have an extensive background in Software Engineering with experience in systems analysis and software development within the pharmaceutical industry.The candidate should be highly motivated, an innovative thinker and self-starter, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesReview and analysis of User Requirements Specification DocumentsSupport development of the Detail Design specifications and system architecturesDevelopment of PI Tags, Asset Framework (AF) templates and AF Analyses, PI Event FramesDevelopment of PI Graphic User Interface / VisualsSupport Software development, testing, commissioning and qualificationAbility to provide first line PI sustaining supportSupport the execution of system changes and optimisation under site change controlPI Qualification ExecutionJob FunctionsSolid understanding of the Aveva / OSIsoft PI systemExperience installing, configuring, validating, and tuning PI Server and interfaces.Experience using the PI client tools including PI Vision, DataLink and PI RtReportsExperience implementing analytic solutions with PI Asset Framework, PI AF Analytics, and Performance EquationsSolid understanding of Windows OS, networking, and system security fundamentalsAnalytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving difficult problems.Strong MS Word and Excel skillsTeam oriented, but self-sufficientExcellent communication skills and client-facing rapportNon-essential Job FunctionsSoftware development experience in .NET using disciplined coding and testing regiments.Experience writing software applications and web services using PI-SDK and AF-SDKExperience installing and configuring web-based applications.RequirementsFamiliarity with ISA 88 and GAMPMinumim over 5+ years relevant industry PI experiencePharma industry experience perferred but not essentialPI System TrainingBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience#J-*****-Ljbffr
