Airport staff are looking for a General Operative to join our client based in Little Island, Cork as part of their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a busy manufacturing and engineering environment, with opportunities to develop skills and progress within the company. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate's duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Liaising and coordinating with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Assisting with all engineering and production-related activities as required. Building air handling units in accordance with technical drawings and specifications. Ensuring finished products are completed to a high-quality standard and within set deadlines. Using hand and power tools safely and effectively in line with company procedures. Adhering to all health and safety policies and maintaining a clean and organised work area. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or engineering workshop environment. Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, grinders, and chop saws. Ability to accurately read measurements using measuring tapes and other measuring devices. This role offers a stable position within a growing company and an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a technical production environment
