Charles Hughes Ltd. (Portwest), a leading manufacturer of outdoor clothing and supplier of Portwest workwear, safety wear and PPE are now seeking applications for the position of Sales Merchandiser based in the South East.
Portwest design, manufacture and distribute market leading outdoor clothing and workwear, safety wear and PPE.
Charles Hughes Ltd. is a subsidiary of Portwest and manages the Irish retail and distribution channels of Portwest, supplying over 1000 customers in Ireland and employing 100 people in Ireland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel to visit our retail customers throughout the region
Build new displays as required
Visual merchandising and maintenance of product displays
Sales order processing
Troubleshoot any issues that arise
Provide general customer service, advice and support .
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Complete call reports and keep management informed of any issues as they arise.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Previous experience as a merchandiser and or in sales role is highly desirable
Ability to work on own initiative without supervision
Self starter with high energy and enthusiasm for what can be a physically demanding role.
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Good IT skills
Full, clean driving licence

We offer a competitive salary of €30,000 per annum, pension, health insurance ,bonus, long service leave, lunch allowance, company vehicle and other benefits commensurate with experience.
