Overview
Commercial Director at Keane McDonald - Executive Legal & HR Recruitment
Our client, a leading data, technology and engineering business, is seeking an interim Legal & Compliance Lead to provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal support across Ireland, the EU and other European jurisdictions.
This is an exciting interim role, initially for around 3-6 months, in a dynamic international environment located in Dublin 22.
Responsibilities
Advising on compliance across employment, tax, construction, anti-bribery and data protection
Partnering with HR on employment lifecycle issues including investigations, employee relations, terminations and policy development
Supporting corporate governance, statutory filings, incorporations and company secretarial matters
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
Overseeing disputes, claims and litigation in multiple jurisdictions
Providing GDPR and data privacy advice, particularly on employee data and cross-border operations
Qualifications
5–7 years' PQE, ideally gained in-house or in a top-tier law firm
Strong Irish employment law expertise with experience advising across European jurisdictions
Knowledge of corporate governance, GDPR, AML/KYC and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
