Collon Pharmacy are a friendly, independent community pharmacy in Collon, Co.Louth.We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly Pharmacy Sales Assistant to join our team for a 12 month contract to cover a combination of winter pressures and maternity leave.The successful candidate should:have outstanding customer service skillshave previous retail experience, pharmacy retail an advantagehave fluent English and excellent communication skillsbe willing to work as part of a team but also able to take initiativebe flexible and willing to learnhave an enthusiastic and positive attitude to workResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Providing excellent customer service based on product knowledge and customer requirementsMaintaining stock levels and merchandising for the shopEnsuring the tidiness of the shop is to a high standardBuilding and sustaining positive relationships with our customers.Experience:Previous retail experience is essentialComputer literacy is desirablePrevious pharmacy experience an advantage.Knowledge of over the counter medications desirable but not essential.Completion of an OTC medicines course would be desirable but not essential.References (2) must be available.Job Types: Part-time, Fixed termPay: From €***** per hourBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingApplication question(s):Are you able to work a flexible 2 day week, which may include Monday to Saturday, but may vary week to week in order to cover other staff?Experience:Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
