Join to apply for theAPOC RAU Managerrole atdaaWe're an airport industry leader with operations across multiple continents and a diverse team delivering high standards of service to customers globally.We offer opportunities across IT, Finance, Technical, Airport Operations, frontline security and customer-focused roles, and more.Whether you are starting your career or seeking your next move, we have a range of opportunities.OverviewThe APOC RAU Manager provides proactive leadership and coordination of the Resource Allocation Unit (RAU), ensuring high standards of service delivery and timely resolution of performance issues.This is a safety-critical role with responsibilities that include training, performance management, and ensuring efficient stand capacity and operations in collaboration with customers and project teams.ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive and dynamic leadership and coordination of the RAU to ensure high standards of service delivery and timely resolution of performance issues.Manage and train the RAU, including recruitment assessment, new-hire training, proficiency training for current team members, and driving standards/best practice.Manage team performance: set expectations, give regular feedback, conduct performance reviews against KPIs, and resolve performance issues promptly.Conduct attendance-related activities including return-to-work interviews and attendance reviews and related staff management processes.Develop seasonal stand and resource guides using forecast data to optimize stand capacity while meeting customer needs and wider airport performance.Work with customers to understand preferences and accommodate them where possible while maintaining safe and efficient operations.Act as Subject Matter Expert for projects/events affecting stand capacity (e.g., AOS upgrades, ACDM, facility withdrawals, iAOP/eAOP).Serve as the RAU contact for longer-term projects with IAA/Air Nav and as an escalation point for project-related operational matters.Own operations systems; collaborate with providers to develop and test new software releases; maintain user access and comply with IT security policies.Provide technical assessment and training for new RAU team members; sign off on training records; manage proficiency training for existing staff.Maintain and review all RAU SOPs, ensuring current information is accessible to the team.Set up and maintain all systems and facilities in the RAU backup location; contribute to business continuity SOPs and exercises with the wider DAP Team.Create stand guides for ad-hoc events to manage demand and supply of stands (e.g., sporting events, industrial actions, or works on the airfield).Review actual stand allocation versus plan, identify trends, and update guides, rules, and processes as needed.Develop and maintain rules within the Airport Operating System (AOS) to ensure safe and compliant aircraft operations; maintain reference data within the AOS.Document changes from previous guides and inform RAU of changes before the new season; develop Winter Ops training for RAU; pursue continuous improvement with customers.Represent the RAU & APOC in airside or terminal projects affecting gate/stand capacity in Dublin; promote a flexible, safe, secure, customer-focused and continuous improvement culture.ExperiencePrevious supervisory experience is a distinct advantage.Proven leadership experience in inspiring, motivating and developing staff to deliver their best.5+ years of experience in airport operations, ideally including stand/resource planning.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience in data analytics and reporting.Experience collaborating with diverse groups and stakeholders.SkillsStrong analytical, data analysis, numeracy and organizational skills.Logical thinker with a structured approach and the ability to prioritize.Strong relationship skills to operate and be respected at managerial level with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment and contribute to the wider operations team, including matters outside of the direct job role.Tenacious, innovative, driven and enthusiastic with the ability to be a key driver of change.Committed to daa values.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherIndustriesAviation and Aerospace Component ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at daa.Get notified about new Manager jobs in Dublin, Ireland.#J-*****-Ljbffr
