Associate Director, Bioprocess Lead in MS&T - Dublin, Ireland - 11 Months Contract
Do you want to be involved with exciting pharmaceutical projects?
Our pharmaceutical client, a leader in veterinary vaccine development and production with the largest industry centre worldwide, is seeking an Associate Director / Bioprocess Lead in MS&T to join their team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage, coach, and mentor the MS&T drug substance team in performing advanced technical experiments, fostering development and potential.
Serve as Technical Lead for MS&T Process Sciences and the site.
Provide proactive technical oversight of biologics inline & pipeline products.
Lead technical assessments for process investigations, risk assessments, specifications evaluation, and material qualification.
Coach the team on technical studies, process improvements, and new product launches.
Design, execute, analyze, and interpret experiments for improvement programs.
Monitor product robustness trends and align laboratory models with commercial data, utilizing tools like SIMCA.
Support deployment of digital tools for predictive issue resolution, investigation, and yield improvement.
Assist in regulatory documentation, report writing, and submissions.
Contribute to laboratory budget creation and performance review.
Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or Chemistry.
Extensive experience in academia, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors, with familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Proven ability to deliver projects with a strong understanding of lean processes and laboratory operations.
Excellent communication skills to articulate process science concepts and support decision-making in a multidisciplinary environment.
