Finance Analyst

Role Overview:WaterWipes is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the FP&A Team, reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance EMEA+.This position is based at the Drogheda Head Office and requires a commercially focused outlook, ownership of business financial performance, and strong communication and influencing skills.You will interact significantly with the WaterWipes senior leadership team.This is a great opportunity to join an innovative and ambitious Irish-headquartered international group.Key DutiesSupport the regional Commercial Finance Director to drive business performance.Support the launch of new product formats.Support the acquisition of new retailers and country distributors.Provide ad hoc commercial finance support to various business projects as required.Perform monthly financial reconciliations across revenue and key cost lines to understand the drivers of business performance.Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis, comparing actuals to the latest forecast, budget, and prior year, and understanding the underlying monthly variances and performance trends.Identify key actions to address variances and work with colleagues to resolve them.Support the Budget, Forecast, and 3YP processes, highlighting risks and opportunities.Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams.Prepare financial analysis of prospective new customers and product opportunities.Proactively highlight opportunities for financial process improvements.Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.Key requirements:Qualifications and ExperienceACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.Strong financial modelling skills and ability to build user-friendly models.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Not required, but advantageous:Familiarity with FMCG environments and e-commerce within an international company.SAP knowledge.Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.Why work for us?'The WaterWipes Way' is underpinned by our Values of:Bravery,Excellence &RespectWe look for individuals who will drive acceptable actions and behaviours that will reflect our vision and values.WaterWipes offers all the benefits of an established global brand, along with the exciting possibilities of an organisation that lives and breathes change.There are so many reasons to join us on our ambitious journey to becoming an iconic global brand.Check out our careers page to find out more
