Computer Vision/ Machine Learning Engineer- Galway Excellent opportunity for a Computer Vision/ Machine Learning Engineer to join a thriving company in Galway. Key Responsibilities: Define, implement and maintain architectures to retrieve, archive and analyse production image data. Develop, validate and deploy computer vision data flows using open-source tools and proprietary tools such as VisionPro, Insight and MVTech. Research state-of-the-art Deep Learning Models and develop improvements. Contribute to funded research initiatives and publications. Provide strong leadership and problem solving to enable equipment technology innovation. Work closely with the customer to understand product visual inspection requirements and propose creative and cost-effective solutions to automate inspections. Generate quotations, concepts and business cases for new and upgraded business systems. Determine project schedules. Participates on cross-functional Design Reviews. Contribute to all phases of software development including design, implementation, unit test, integration, release and validation support. Key Requirements: Level 9 Qualification in a relevant discipline Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Basic Statistical analysis and sampling knowledge. Deep learning techniques and model architectures such as CNNs, Variations Auto-Encoders and GANs. TensorFlow and OpenCV in Python environments Digital Image Processing techniques and dataflows applied to machine vision such as image labelling, pre-processing, Augmentation, and Storage.
