Regional HR Partner (Fixed Term Contract for 12 months)

In this role you will be a strategic HR advisor to all functional leadership.
You will be coach and advisor to managers, leaders, and HR partners.
Coordinate with other HR functions (HR services, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition) to effectively manage the successful delivery of professional HR support.
Strategically execute all HR initiatives, ensure consistent implementation and feedback to project owners.
Partners with management to develop and maintain employee relationships to create a respectful working environment for the site/country/region through communication, performance management, and processing grievances and/or disputes.
Investigates and advises both management and employees on personnel matters.
Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
Interprets and communicates company policies and ensures legal compliance.
Investigates and evaluates union complaints or disputes to determine viability.
Participates in the recruitment process, discusses staffing needs with line managers, screens applications, and conducts interviews.
Assists in career development issues and outlines career paths options with line managers.
Conducts routine salary administration tasks, providing advice to managers on the wages and salaries of employees.
Participate in regional/global project teams to ensure the Ireland HR perspective is not overlooked.
Ensure regular review of all country policies, processes and employee compensation & benefits to keep them aligned with internal and external trends and business needs.
Your ideal background:
A Level 8 bachelor's degree or above or equivalent experience, a HR related major is preferred
Demonstratable experience working in a fast-paced working environment with 3-5 year relevant years of experience in HR Business Partnering in a similar role and working environment.
Experience working in manufacturing organization desirable
Knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices
Has served as an HR business partner or generalist for organizations with differing business models and complexity, and has demonstrated an ability to provide employee relations, union/labor relations, works council, and mergers and acquisition support to managers and employees
Has held roles in other HR disciplines (HR Operations/Comp & Benefits/Talent Management) which provided both vertical and horizontal exposure and experience.
Experience working in global or international organizations.
