The Rose Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Tralee, Co Kerry.It is a 161 bedroomed hotel with busy food and beverage outlets.We are currently looking to recruit for the role of Kitchen porter.Main duties of the role:To ensure that all wash up areas in the kitchen remain clean, tidy and free of hazards at all timesTo ensure that the pot wash area is kept clean and tidy at all timesTo ensure a continuous supply of clean equipment to the kitchen and food & beverage areas of the hotelTo ensure that all floors, walls and surfaces are kept clean at all timesTo ensure that refuse is regularly removed from the kitchen areaTo ensure that the refuse area is kept clean and tidy at all timesRequired to do night cleaning duties when rosteredTo do extra deep cleaning duties to comply with the EHOTo complete cleaning records as directed by the senior chef on dutyTo attend training both on the job and onlineTo work as part of the teamTo comply with HACCP in relation to storing of deliveries etc.To carry out any other duties asked by either Senior Chefs or ManagementIf it is a full time role you can work this means working 5 days with 2 days off - working hours will vary depending on business requirements.CandidateIdeally to have previous experience in the role of kitchen porter in a busy environmentTo be able to work as part of a teamMust have fluent level of english both written and oralTo be able to work weekends and public holidaysTo be able to work a variety of shifts - early, late, mid and splitMust also be available to do 1 night a week for night work when deep cleaning is required.Benefits of working in The Rose HotelProvided with part of the uniformProvided with meal on dutyFree tea/coffeeProvided with trainingAccess to the hotel gym at designated timesAll year round employmentEmployee Assistance ProgramPLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO APPLY FOR A WORK PERMIT FOR THIS ROLE
