Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Primary contact and liaison for owner and principal partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures, and related deliverables.
  2. Develops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project.
  3. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement process improvements within healthcare systems.
  4. Ensures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements.
  5. Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities.
  6. Represents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings.
  7. Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout.
  8. Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
  9. Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
  10. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration among team members.
  11. May supervise the work and performance of others, including PMs, Assistant PMs, CMs, and other project staff as assigned.
  12. Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to team members.
  13. Ensure that team members have the necessary skills and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
  14. Coordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities.
  15. Ensures project team adheres to safety requirements.
  16. Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the client.
  17. Ensure clear and effective communication across all levels of the project, from ground-level team members to executives.
  18. Maintain transparency and provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and adjustments.
  19. Track project progress against defined milestones and KPIs.
  20. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
  21. Provide data-driven insights and make recommendations to improve the project's outcomes.
  22. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent required.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager and an additional 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager supervising staff required.
  3. Advanced knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts, delivery methods required.
  4. Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Procore and Primavera required.
  5. Experience managing construction projects of 300M+ required.
  6. Trauma 1 Hospital construction experience is desired but not required.
  7. Public Agency experience required.
  8. PMP Plan Development experience required. PMP Certification is optional.
  9. DBIA experience and/or Alternative Delivery Method experience required. DBIA Certification is optional.
  10. LEED AP and/or LEED certification experience required. LEED Certification is optional.
  11. Master Planning/Programming experience is desired.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $150,000-$170,000.
