Purpose of the Role: We are seeking to recruit aSpeech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will be a member of a very experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team that work collaboratively with all staff. Provide Speech & Language support and information in relation to communication and/ or feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders etc. to Service Owners, staff, and family carers. Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent Current registration with CORU Desirable Qualifications Training in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) Completion of Lmh training course Desirable Experience 1 years post qualification clinical experience. Experience working with Children / Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or intellectual disabilities. Experience completing Assessment of Need Trained in Picture Explanatory Communications (PECs) Experience in attending Service Owners assessments, reviews and participating in internal/external meetings and case conferences. Essential Requirement: A Full Driving License and access to own car Excellent English speaking / report writing skills. Probationary Period: A probationary period of six months applies to this position. Salary: The current salary scale for this position ranges from €50,000 to €55,000 per annum. Annual Leave: Annual leave entitlement is 23 days pro rata per annum, proportionately adjusted for less than 12 months of service. Garda Clearance / Police Clearance: Prospective employees undertaking relevant work or activities involving children or vulnerable persons will be required to obtain Garda / Police clearance.
