A leading manufacturing company based in County Meath, is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage compliance, drive innovative environmental solutions, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities Include: Compliance with the monitoring programme as described in the companys Industrial Emissions licence. Completing submission for Planning applications, Licence review applications and other business critical applications to state agencies. Investigation, follow-up and reporting of environmental incidents to the Statutory Authorities. Timely reporting of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual data to the company and Statutory Authorities. Design and implementation of solution to improve environmental performance. Lead audits conducted by EPA, external 3rd Party and internally. Management of external stakeholders. Occasionally, there may be a requirement for this position to be available outside of normal working hours. The successful candidate will: Work effectively as an Environmental Engineer, building strong relationships across the organisation, operating in a flexible and collaborative manner. Have the ability to work with complex environmental issues in a competent and confident way. Hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Portray strong analytical ability, with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement. Be proactive, with a can-do approach and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Value integrity and honesty as a core personal value. Requirements: A minimum of 4 years experience with considerable exposure to the environmental function. Experience of working in a highly regulated / heavy manufacturing industry. Strong EPA & Licensing knowledge A Technical College or University Degree in a Science, Environmental, Engineering or related discipline is desirable.
