Job Summary
Zurich Life Ireland (ZLAP) is seeking a German-speaking Life Insurance Underwriter/Claims Assessor to evaluate applications for Life and Serious Illness products or assess claims.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of market experience as an Underwriter.
Your Role
As a German Life Insurance Underwriter/Claims Assessor, your responsibilities will include:
Making quality, timely decisions aligned with Zurich's underwriting or claims policies
Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including customers and advisors
Explaining decisions to resolve challenges
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Acting with integrity and a positive attitude
Taking ownership of personal development and supporting team training
Driving quality and providing feedback to improve processes
Your Skills and Experience
Required skills and qualifications:
Fluent written and spoken German
3-5 years of experience in underwriting or risk claims, or medical qualifications such as nursing
Relevant business or medical qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
