Rent the Runway established its European Technology Hub in Galway in April 2019.
Based in the historic Claddagh area, the growing team tackles core technology challenges and influences the next generation of services critical to Rent the Runway's success and growth.
Our Galway office is the company's first international office outside the US and enables expansion of Software Engineering, Product Development, Machine Learning Engineering and Data Science.

About the Role
Machine Learning Engineers at Rent the Runway
create data products
that impact customer experience and internal operations.
You will own projects end to end-from framing problems to transforming information from our data ecosystem into actionable insights, and ultimately building & integrating algorithms into our network of services in collaboration with product and software engineering teams.
You will influence multiple areas of the business, including inventory assortment and lifecycle, warehouse and transportation networks, personalized user experiences, user acquisition & retention, customer service information delivery, pricing of rentals and sales, demand forecasting, and more.

What You'll Do
Work on a team of peers in an environment that will keep you challenged and learning daily.
Develop and deploy performant algorithms
powering customer-facing applications that are core to our business and success.
Collaborate closely with business, product and engineering teams.
Have a significant voice in what you work on and how work is carried out.
About You
3+ years of work experience
building data products
, preferably with
Python
, integrating them into internal and customer-facing applications in production environments.
Bonus points if you've built & maintained services using AWS, GCP; deployed & maintained production deep learning models using frameworks such as
Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras
.
Ability and desire to own your project through its lifecycle, from data exploration and analysis to modelling, experimentation, production implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
Experience transforming vague problems into algorithmic solutions.
Desire to drive business impact with a bias to action; you move fast, follow through, and are accountable for results.
Owner's mindset.
