Overview
Java Developer role with a 12 month contract in Dublin city center.
The following non-exhaustive list of key deliverables is applicable to this role.
Responsibilities
Programming of Java/j2EE components
Completing assigned tasks related to phases of development lifecycle of enterprise applications within given scope and timeframe requirements
Coding in adherence to the standards of the application in question
Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications in order to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications
Performing preventive maintenance activities
Integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
Writing and execution of unit and integration test plans
Incident resolution
Ensure production releases are compliant with client release management standards
Conducting development code reviews to ensure adherence to JAVA coding standards; organization of skill/knowledge transfer and mentoring of team members
Experience / Competencies
Responsibility for building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications
Java application development with expertise in the full software development lifecycle
Developing web services
Work across all stages of the software development life cycle from concept to design and testing
Exposure to technologies: Java (Enterprise), Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat PAM, Red Hat Single Sign-On, Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, RESTful APIs, Git, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS / SCSS, SQL Developer, UX/UI Development, Message Broker Technologies
