Bakers Assistant

Job Title: Baker's Assistant Location: Portumna, Co.
Galway Pay Rate: €14.00 - €15.00 per hour (depending on experience) About the Role My client is looking for a motivated and reliable Baker's Assistant to join their busy bakery in Portumna.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, assisting with the preparation of high-quality baked goods, and learning from experienced bakers.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, pastries, and other products.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
Help maintain a clean and organised work area.
Support stock control and ingredient ordering.
Follow food safety and HACCP procedures at all times.
Assist with packaging and labelling baked goods for display and sale.
Requirements Previous experience in a bakery, catering, or food production environment is an advantage but not essential.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work early mornings and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
