Ergonomics Technician

An Ergonomics Technician is required to work at UNIVERSAL SAFETY ASSOCIATES LIMITED, located at Unit 2, Glenrock Business Park, Ballybane, Galway, Co.Galway, H91 FF25.The candidate must hold a recognised qualification in ergonomics – a minimum Level 8 or 9 degree, or a Master's degree (or equivalent) – together with at least six months' experience in a dedicated ergonomics role.The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive ergonomic evaluations, recommending adjustments to workstations and processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to reduce musculoskeletal risks across a range of workplace settings.Key responsibilities will include undertaking full ergonomic assessments of employee workstations, processes and environments; identifying musculoskeletal risk factors using evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies; recommending tailored interventions, including workstation modifications, equipment specifications and workflow improvements; preparing clear and professional reports; and maintaining accurate records of evaluations and findings.The post-holder will also be expected to remain up to date with current research and best practice in ergonomics, human factors and workplace design.The salary for this position is €38,000 per annum.The working week comprises 39 hours.Applications should be submitted to Nicole atJob Type: Full-timePay: €34,****** per yearWork Location: In person
