Join our dedicated team at City Vets, Waterford, a well-established veterinary practice providing high-quality care to pets and their owners.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Practice Director to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensure the smooth running of our clinic, and support our staff in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the veterinary practice, ensure efficient workflow and exceptional client care.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, invoicing, and profitability.
Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
Handle HR tasks including recruitment, training, and staff development.
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to promote high team morale.
Manage inventory, ordering, and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
Work with senior management to develop and implement strategies for practice growth.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate with previous experience in a veterinary practice management role, or equivalent leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, along with financial acumen, including budgeting and managing a P&L.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving practice efficiency is essential, as well as excellent communication skills to engage effectively with the team and clients.
