Primtac Personnel is delighted to partner with one of Corks largest private waste collection companies. We are currently seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their dedicated team. Key Responsibilities Safely collect and empty refuse along assigned routes in a timely manner. Complete daily vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is kept clean and well-presented. Assist the bin crew with commercial waste collections when required. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Deliver excellent customer service at every collection point. Accurately manage job cards and maintain written and digital records. Report any vehicle damage or issues to the maintenance team via Tranzaura. Ensure all routes are completed in full each day. Maintain a valid Category C driving licence and up-to-date CPC certification Requirements Full, clean Category C driving licence. Current CPC modules completed. Minimum 6 months to 1 year of relevant driving experience. Good working knowledge of English. Working Hours Monday to Friday (47 hours per week, 4 days per week schedule) Occasional Saturday work Optional 5th shift available for overtime pay Start times between 3:00 am 5:00 am, finishing between 1:00 pm 4:00 pm Pay & Benefits Weekly salary: €780 Overtime (5th day): €206.84 (time and a half) Saturday/Public Holiday rate: €206.84 per day Subsistence allowance: €42.99 for days exceeding 10 hours Annual leave: 4 weeks per year Profit share scheme: €260 bonus every 13 weeks (subject to no vehicle damage) Discounted refuse collection services Cycle-to-work scheme Free on-site parking Company pension scheme Recruitment Process Interview & Driving Assessment In person (Midleton Office) or online (approx. 1 hour total) Reference Check Completed by the agency Pre-employment Medical Conducted at Imokilly Medical Centre, Midleton (arranged and paid for by the company) Includes vaccination offer: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus Contract Issued Upon successful completion of the above Skills: rigid truck cpc c licence tachograph card
