In this vital role you will be a member of the Global Cost Accounting team that is responsible for the consolidation and analysis of the global inventory and cost of sales.
Job duties include but are not limited to: Perform the inventory, cost of production and cost of sales accounting for certain manufacturing and contract manufacturing sites and distribution channels.Perform and review sophisticated journal entries, general ledger account analysis.Enhance, perform and review reconciliations for both SAP and consolidation tools – adhering to best practices and audit standards.Prepare and review audit schedules and answer questions from internal and external auditors including physical inventory count collaboration, planning and execution.Preparation and review of highly developed financial schedules such as footnote, month-end flash reports, accounting memos, and other ad hoc schedules, as required by the supervisor to strict deadlines.Will lead and review accounting control functions and reporting requirements such as: inventory reserves, inventory step-up, pre-approval manufacturing, standard costing including absorption tests, and excess capacity analysis among others.Special projects to improve accounting processes including digital projects and SAP S/4HANA implementation.Support and drive legacy product integration activities and associated process harmonization.Consolidate, analyze, and report global inventory balances by product/site and perform detailed monthly variance analysis.Collaborate with global functions to ensure effective communication and alignmentAccountable to manage and review the assigned work of an outsourced provider that supports this team.What we expect of you: We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.

Basic Qualifications: Qualified Accountant and 4+ years PQE in general accounting/cost accounting/inventory (preferable) ORBachelor's degree, part qualified accountant and 6+ years PQE in general accounting/cost accounting/inventory (preferable)Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of General, Intercompany and Cost Accounting experience using SAPDynamic accounting/finance experience including corporate-level public company experienceExperience in driving and implementing change, leading through collaboration, and influenceExperience managing outsourced partner relationshipsExperience in financial system optimization, improvement, and implementationKnowledgeable in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Foreign Currency transaction accounting and understanding concepts to translate into mentorship for financial reportingExperience in other functional accounting areas (i.e., intercompany, cash, investments)Please click the link below to apply or alternatively send an up-to-date CV to ****** ***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in Ireland***
