Hunter Philips is currently seeking a HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects of a utility-scale solar PV plant construction project in Ireland, starting in February 2025 on a 14-month contract. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safety culture on-site.Our client leads innovative energy transition projects worldwide, focusing on renewable energy, grid modernization, and sustainable infrastructure. Whilst experience in the PV industry would be a huge advantage, this opportunity is also open to those without experience in the industry.Principal Accountabilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures. * Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. * Lead safety meetings and training sessions for all site personnel. * Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions. * Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate safety into all project phases. * Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance issues. * Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used.Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management with strong knowledge of Irish regulations, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Certification in safety management is a plus.Summary: * Contract duration: 14 months * Location: Ireland * Rate: Negotiable plus expenses * Start date: February 2025If you're the HSE Manager we're looking for then do not delay - apply now for consideration
