Job Description – General OperativeLocation: Various sites (based from Longford/Dublin/Midlands)About Glancy EnviroGlancy Enviro is a leading provider of drainage and environmental services across Ireland.We pride ourselves on delivering quality, reliability, and innovative solutions to our clients.Our services include CCTV drain surveys, inspections, repairs, relining, gully cleaning, septic tank emptying, pest control, and more.Role OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Operative to join our growing team.This role is ideal for someone who is eager to start at the ground roots, learn on the job, and progress within the company.As a General Operative, you will be introduced to all aspects of the services we provide and work as a helper/support team member to experienced technicians.Every day brings something new, offering variety, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career with us.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist technicians across all service areas, including drainage, inspections, cleaning, and pest control.Support with site set-up, equipment preparation, and safe working practices.Carry out general labouring duties such as lifting, carrying, and handling tools and machinery.Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on all sites.Learn and develop new skills to take on increased responsibility over time.Provide excellent customer service and represent Glancy Enviro in a professional manner.RequirementsEnthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn.Good communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work outdoors and in varied environments.Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and locations.Full clean driving licence desirable but not essential.Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required – full training will be provided.What We OfferFull training and introduction to all Glancy Enviro services.Opportunities for career progression and skill development.A supportive team environment where no two days are the same.Competitive pay and benefits.Long-term growth opportunities in a respected, expanding company.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:Company eventsEmployee assistance programWork Location: In person
