Physiotherapist – Hospice and Palliative care service, Cork
In partnership with our client, a leading specialist care service, we are recruiting for a Physiotherapist for an initial 3-month period.
We will consider applications for both Senior and Staff grade roles, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join a dedicated and collaborative team, providing exceptional care to specialist palliative care patients.
As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver holistic physiotherapy services in a person centred manner that address the complex physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients within the service.
Job Responsibilities:
· Support the Physiotherapy Manager in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of our physiotherapy service
· Contributing to ongoing professional development and the promotion of excellence in care across the organisation
· Provide advanced assessment and treatment of individuals with complex and/or chronic condition
· Working autonomously to determine clinical diagnoses and develop tailored physiotherapy interventions
The Candidate:
· A recognized qualification as an Physiotherapist with CORU registration
· A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in order to be considered for a senior role
· Experience working in a similar setting, ideally with palliative care / end of life experience
· Experience in neuro / rehab
· Permission to work in Ireland
· Professional approach to work
· Flexibility in work practice
