At Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service business at Hitachi Energy in Europe (HBUEU), Inclusion drives our culture of innovation and collaboration.Our leading technology and strong market position enable us to achieve growth targets in the energy transition acrosscurrent and growing market segments such as hydrogen, data centers and e-mobility.Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for Electrical Project Managers, to support the Power Grids Grid Integration Business you'll be reporting to the Operational Unit Manager and responsible for projects to ensure the works comply with Hitachi Energy and customer's standards, procedures, and policies.Part of your role will be to maintain a safe working environment for all site employees & mitigate the risks and manage Health Safety and Environmental risks associated with the business unit and ensure ethical behaviour in line with code of conduct and be part of the environment that allows all employees to develop and succeed.Location, Ireland (Hybrid) with travel to Dublin and other sites(Please note we are unable to provide visa support for this position)How you\'ll make an impact:Project Responsibility:Define main guidelines, allocate project tasks, and motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.Provide performance feedback regarding project progress.Planning and Scheduling:Define all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans, jointly with the Project Controls department.Project Execution and Control:Ensure the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy Ireland policies.Monitor and control project progress and resource utilization.Oversee project financials, including invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks, ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned throughout the project.Ensure the project is formally closed out as contractually agreed, driving formal acceptance and contract close-out acknowledgment by the customer.Contract, Claims, and Procurement Management:Consistently apply contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy Ireland policies and contractual agreements.Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes.Stakeholder Relations:Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.Your Background:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy sectorStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.What We Offer:Competitive salary packageExcellent company pension and wide-ranging benefits schemes.Top quality H&S culture alongside comprehensive training and personal development programmes.Inclusive Work Environment: We foster a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.More about usWe offer fantastic opportunities to work on dynamic, high-impact and cutting-edge industry initiatives that are making a crucial impact to society whilst also offering the vibrancy of working within a world-leading global organization.Location Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland;Remote - IrelandJob type Full timeExperience ExperiencedJob function Project | Program ManagementContract RegularPublication date **********Reference number R*******About Hitachi EnergyHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.Over three billion people depend on our technologies to power their daily lives.With over a century in pioneering mission-critical technologies like high-voltage, transformers, automation, and power electronics, we are addressing the most urgent energy challenge of our time – balancing soaring electricity demand, while decarbonizing the power system.Headquartered in Switzerland, we employ over 50,000 people in 60 countries and generate revenues of around $16 billion USD.We welcome you to apply today.#J-*****-Ljbffr
