Purchasing Manager

On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading medical supply company, we are seeking a dynamic Purchasing Manager to spearhead procurement activities, ensuring the sourcing of equipment, goods, and services while fostering robust vendor relationships. Balancing cost-effectiveness and quality, you'll drive strategic procurement across diverse product categories. Principal Accountabilities: Align procurement with business goals through collaboration with leadership. Lead procurement team, executing strategies for efficiency. Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable deals. Analyse demand and proactively address stock shortages. Optimise supply chain costs and forecast market trends. Conduct cost analysis and drive automation initiatives. (A detailed job description is available on request) Requirements: Experience in purchasing management or a similar senior role. Healthcare sector or extensive SKU management experience is an advantage. Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is preferred. Strong leadership skills with proven supervisory experience. Proficiency in data gathering, analysis, and ERP systems. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
