Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

OverviewU Value Insulation are now looking to recruit a full-time Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist.Working closely with the Group Financial Controller & Finance team this is a broad hands-on role where your experience and value add skills should make a strong contribution to the U Value Insulation Finance team.The role will focus on our distribution business and will include tasks such as, credit report checks, cash sales management, aged debtors' reports, liaising with credit insurers on legal matters and assisting in driving timely and accurate data, processes and controls.ResponsibilitiesSet up new accounts for customers on IntactCredit report checksPost & allocation of paymentsCash sales managementLiaise with credit insurers on legal matters and communicate options to managementIssue credit notes for cash sales/discount rebatesIssue end of month statementsUpload invoices and credit notesDebit notes treatmentMajor debtor remittance & treatmentIssue major consolidated debtor statementUpdates on aged debtors report as requestedInvoice financing – uploads & drawdownExpense analysisAssist other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Group Financial ControllerQualifications3+ years' experience in an accounts receivable role.Be results driven and have a proactive "can do" attitude.Be able to deal with a large volume of transactions and tight deadlines.Thrive in a busy, challenging and demanding environment.Ability to find a positive solution while balancing different stakeholder needs.Be open to challenge the status quo (i.e. the current way that things are done).Have strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.Proven experience working with credit insurers on legal mattersHave strong computer and analytical skills; this to include a high level of proficiency in Excel.Intact experience an advantage but not essential.Be used to working on their own initiative.Possess a valid driver's licence.BenefitsBenefits included:#J-18808-Ljbffr
