Join our dynamic team at KDM Hire (Ireland) as a Credit Controller and play a crucial role in driving our success in the equipment rental industryWe're looking for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for building relationships and a strong understanding of credit management.In this role, you'll manage accounts receivable, ensure timely collections, and collaborate with our dedicated team to enhance cash flow.Apply now and help us maintain our reputation for excellenceWhat you will do:Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.Conduct credit checks on new clients and assess their creditworthiness based on rental history and financial information.Communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices, payment terms, and any discrepancies in accounts.Negotiate payment plans or settlements for outstanding debts while maintaining client relationships.Generate and distribute monthly statements and overdue notices to clients.Collaborate with the sales, operations and finance teams to reconcile accounts and resolve rental disputes.Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications in our system.Report on accounts receivable status and credit control activities to management regularly.Develop and implement strategies to reduce overdue accounts and improve cash flow.What you will need:Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.Strong understanding of credit management principles.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Good attention to customer service.Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (inc.
