Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Security Officer to join our IT Security Team.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in FBD House, Bluebell.
The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Job Responsibilities
Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
Identify and define system security requirements.
Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
Participate in Security Incident management, including leading meetings to address issues.
Write comprehensive reports including assessments, outcomes, and proposals for security enhancements.
Assist with Security awareness initiatives, including training, material development, and presentations at town halls and to senior management.
Report to senior management, maintain risk control registers, and support external and internal audits.
Education
CISSP or CISM certification and other security qualifications.
Qualifications in Azure/O365 and other security-related certifications.
Experience
Proven experience as a Security Engineer or Information Security Architect.
In-depth knowledge of Azure/O365 security practices.
Experience with email security tools, data classification, and DLP technology.
Familiarity with web technologies, protocols, and web services.
Experience in building and maintaining security systems.
Strong knowledge of database and OS security.
Scripting experience in a Windows environment is an advantage.
Understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Knowledge of PCI, EIOPA, DORA regulations.
Experience working in regulated environments and with third-party infrastructure providers.
Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001 and Cobit.
Problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
Negotiation skills, motivation, results-focus, and team spirit.
People management skills and ability to present to C-suite executives.
Additional Information
This role is within the Manager/Specialist pay grade in the IT department.
