They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Spring to join their team on a 12-month contract.
There is potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Develop:
Design, develop, and deploy high-performance software applications using Java and Spring.
Technical Leadership:
Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration.
Full-Stack Development:
Contribute across all layers of the software stack, ensuring seamless integration.
System Optimization:
Diagnose and improve system performance and scalability.
Code Quality:
Ensure high standards through testing and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with product managers, designers, and QA teams.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
Extensive Experience:
5+ years in software development focusing on Java and Spring.
Java Expertise:
Deep knowledge of Java, including object-oriented design and performance optimization.
Spring Framework:
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
Database Proficiency:
Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including SQL optimization.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills for robust software solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
