What Youll Be Doing Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to fully understand project requirements Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Visiting project sites (as needed) to assess conditions and gather critical information Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids Producing detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documentation Identifying risks, value engineering (VE) opportunities, and potential cost savings Assisting in tender submissions and client presentations Staying updated on industry trends, construction methods, and pricing Working closely with project management to align estimates with project delivery What Were Looking For 34 years of post-grad experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in fit-out / construction Strong understanding of estimating, cost management, and contract administration Proficiency with software such as Evaluate and Procore Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible working hours and environment (including flexitime) Career development and progression opportunities A supportive, innovative, and collaborative team culture Modern, state-of-the-art office space with free on-site parking Private healthcare and other perks Skills: cost management estimating contract administration analytical problem-solving skills Evaluate Procore
