Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
You will be working on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Vehicle Diagnostics: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Servicing: Carry out routine vehicle servicing, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining vehicle issues and repair options in a clear and professional manner.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and services provided.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient service process.
Qualifications and Skills Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in a dealership or automotive repair shop.
Certification: Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., FETAC, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to high standards of work and precision.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability: Ability to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
