
Post 2000 - Infrastructure Support Analyst (grade V)

The Infrastructure Support Analyst is a key member of the IBTS IT Department, in order to meet operational and strategic objectives.
The Infrastructure Support Analyst primary purpose, is to manage escalated IT calls in relation to IBTS incidents and service requests.
This role involves providing technical support on a number of different technologies, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and working with third parties on more complex problems.
The Analyst ensures timely and effective responses to user inquiries, contributing to the smooth operation of IBTS IT systems and delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Criteria: A recognised qualification in a relevant discipline, i.e.
Comp TIA A minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role.
Advanced working knowledge of multiple of the following: - Microsoft Desktop technologies (Windows 10, Windows 11) - Windows Server Deployment and management - Windows Active Directory Infrastructure including Group Policy Deployment - Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Share Point, e-mail - MS System Centre/MECM for, enterprise management of software including deployment and auditing - VMWare, Virtual desktop technologies, including Citrix - Backup technologies and solutions.
- Enterprise security features web\email content protection and endpoint protection (AV and Encryption) - IP Telephony, including Avaya IP Office integration - IP Networking technologies, including routers, firewalls, wireless networking Desirable Criteria: Understanding of NIS2 requirements ITIL Foundation certification Current Microsoft certifications Experience with Linux / Unix Experience working in a Gx P environment Experience working in an organisation with ISO27001 certification Working knowledge of GDPR The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade V scale 51,718 to 61,866 (incl.
LSI) pro rata per annum.
Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience.
