Your opportunity Were currently looking for a Trainee Wrapline Operator.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimum production of the printing process using all resources at your disposal ensuring the printed product meets the highest standards of quality at all times and all work is produced in a timely and efficient manner You will report to Operations Manager and be part of the Flexographic team.
Where youll be You will be located at our Belfast site and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.
What youll be doing Monitoring and controlling print quality Optimising press speeds Efficiently dealing with print faults Highlighting print defects through QA department and print manager Managing ink levels Accurately capturing data Enhancing knowledge and training within the department Complying with site procedures Maintaining good housekeeping on the presses What youll bring to the role 2 GCSEs in English or Maths or equivalent 2 years experience setting up and running a multi colour flexographic printing press Mechanical aptitude Be self-motivated Good verbal and written communication skills Be a conceptual thinker, able to research new concepts Good attention to detail Have the ability to plan and organise workload effectively to meet specified deadlines Be a team player that is open to collaboration while seeking solutions.
